We are excited to announce that Prism Sound is bringing Edward J. Nixon to keynote the 2015 Central Indiana Audio Student Workshop. As a multiple Grammy nominee, mix engineer, producer, motivational speaker and chief engineer of the acclaimed Grammy Award winning collective The J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, Edward J. Nixon has worked with superstars such as Sir. Paul McCartney, Nas, Anthony Hamilton, Estelle, Drake, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Future and Hudson Mohawke.

Edward will discuss how the skills he honed as a student and on the job have facilitated his career thus far. Building upon the technical, creative, and communication competencies needed to be successful as an audio engineer, Edward will provide insight into how he manages himself as a freelance entrepreneur/small business, his mindset, and personal processes.

Attendees will be able to interact with Edward throughout the day in MMP Studio 11, so be sure to bring your own mixes for critique and any questions that you might have.

For those about to enter the work force or considering a change, regional employers Sweetwater, Klipsch Audio, Auralex Acoustics, Interlochen Center for the Arts will be onsite all day to discuss career opportunities one-on-one or in small groups.

Regional bands Dream Chief, Tonos Triad, and Flight of the Fallen will be providing live in-studio and on-stage performances throughout the day. For those staying in Muncie Saturday night, local all ages venue BE HERE NOW! is within walking distance of the workshop and will be granting free admission to the indoor/outdoor concert stages for any attendees who present their official CIASW badges.
